Penn Says…

Every once in a while, it’s good to get faith perspective from people who aren’t into faith. Yesterday, I was talking with a teacher after school who went down the hall and came back and said she was “a little weirded out… the classroom next door had these kids in a Bible group singing songs and chanting some religious thing.” It got me thinking about how foreign faith can be for people. Here’s a clip from Penn that I think brings good perspective to that topic. I’ve used this with my youth kids and it was a great conversation starter.

“it was a good man that gave me that book”

not only was it interesting to hear the perspective of an atheist, but also to hear about the value of authenticity and character and conviction.
